About Live Events Equity Group

Live Events Equity Group is a live events ticket brokerage and specialized solutions company. We manage millions of dollars in ticket inventory, acquire hard-to-get tickets through creative strategies, and build custom technical and operational solutions. Our team thrives on innovation, technical execution, and driving growth in the fast-moving live events marketplace.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven and resourceful Growth & Operations Lead to take ownership of key initiatives and help scale our company. This is not a maintenance role — we need someone who actively identifies opportunities, builds solutions, and drives projects forward with minimal oversight.

This is a technical operations role. Functional coding ability is not optional — it is a core requirement. You will be expected to directly build, modify, and deploy solutions, often using AI tools to accelerate development, while also making practical, high-impact business decisions across operations, marketing, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute major operational projects from concept to completion
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions across the business
  • Take initiative on new ideas, systems, and revenue-driving opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally to streamline workflows and improve performance
  • Independently build, test, and deploy tools, scripts, and automations
  • Use AI-assisted coding to rapidly prototype and ship solutions
  • Design and implement non-technical operational strategies, including marketing initiatives and sales pipeline improvements
  • Analyze performance metrics and continuously optimize processes
  • Learn and understand what drives the live events secondary markets
  • Assess the potential and current value of inventory and price tickets when needed

Example of a Major Project You Will Own

One of the first major initiatives you will take over is a full integration with a primary ticket marketplace that has partnered with us to add resale inventory to their platform.

This is a zero-to-one ownership role where you will:

  • Take full responsibility for the integration from its current stage through completion and scaling
  • Handle the technical implementation directly (APIs, automation, data pipelines, etc.)
  • Coordinate with our affiliate partners and overseas staff to onboard and manage inventory supply
  • Work with our overseas team to create a scalable customer service system to support buyers and sellers
  • Build internal tools and workflows to ensure the operation runs efficiently at scale
  • Develop supporting marketing, distribution, and sales processes to maximize inventory performance
  • Continuously improve the system to maximize revenue, reliability, and user experience
  • This project requires someone who can both think like an operator and execute like a builder.

What We’re Looking For

  • Highly self-driven — you don’t wait for direction, you create it
  • Proven ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results independently
  • Strong functional coding skills (REQUIRED) — you must be comfortable writing and understanding code well enough to build real systems
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to code faster and more effectively (REQUIRED)
  • Ability to make practical, business-driven decisions across operations, marketing, and sales
Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias toward action
  • Ability to think creatively and implement unconventional solutions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Ability to think big and operate with a long-term vision — we are building something significant and are looking for someone who wants to help scale it to a much larger level

Nice-to-Have (Strong Advantage)

  • Experience or knowledge in live events, entertainment, or the ticketing secondary market
  • Familiarity with marketplaces, pricing strategies, or trading environments
  • Experience building internal tools, automation systems, or data workflows

Tools, Budget & Resources

  • You will be given a meaningful operational budget and the autonomy to deploy it effectively
  • Full access to the tools, software, APIs, and infrastructure needed to build and scale
  • Freedom to source, test, and implement new technologies and vendors as needed
  • Direct impact on how resources are allocated to drive growth and efficiency

Compensation & Growth

  • Base salary: $80,000
  • Performance bonus: Up to $40,000
  • Significant upside through expanded responsibilities and leadership opportunities as the company grows
  • Opportunity to play a foundational role in shaping operations and long-term strategy
  • Future compensation increases will correlate directly with value added - we are looking for someone to build with for the future

Who This Role Is For

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build, not maintain. Someone who has a passion to grow with our firm and is willing to spend the time needed to execute. If you are not comfortable writing code and shipping technical solutions yourself, this role will not be a fit. If you want to lead, have a direct impact on growth and help shape our trajectory, we want to hear from you.
